  2. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices and halve the slices if necessary. Now fill the slits of the tomatoes with a basil leaf and a slice of mozzarella.
  3. For the pesto, lightly toast the pine nuts in a non-stick pan. Then add 15 g basil leaves and the garlic cloves to a blender and chop.
  4. Add a little olive oil so it is not too dry and stir in the parmesan, mix again. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Place the tomato and mozzarella fans on a large plate and pour the finished garlic pesto over them.
